Una noche más hemos asistido a una larga y emocionante noche de Oscars. Desde las dos de la madrugada, hora española, hemos disfrutado de la 86ª edición de la Gala de los Oscars de la Academia, el evento del cine hollywoodiense por excelencia.
La gala ha contado ha sido presentada por la estrella de la televisión americana Ellen DeGeneres y el homenaje a el clásico El Mago de Oz a cargo de Pink versionando «Somewhere over the rainbow«. Contó también la ceremonia con las actuaciones de Pharrell Williams con «Happy«, banda sonora de la película Gru – Mi villano favorito 2, Karen O cantando “The Moon Song”, de Her, U2 interpretando “Ordinary Love” de Mandela: Del mito al hombre, Idina Menzely con «Let it go» de Frozen: El reino del hiel, por supuesto el ‘in-memoriam’ con Bette Milder cantando «Wind Beneath My Wings» y el típico speech de la Presidenta de The Academy, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, que afortunadamente no se extendió en exceso.
En la Gala, Ellen DeGeneres tuvo la osadía de ofrecer pizza a los selectos invitados e incluso se permitió hacerse una foto de grupo en directo para su cuenta de twitter que ya se ha convertido en el tweet més retwitteado de la história con más de dos millones de retweets:
