Se han dado a conocer a través de la cadena MTV y en MTV.com los nominados a los MTV Movie Awards 2013, que seran entregados el 14 de Abril en una gala en el Sony Pictures Studios Lot de Culver City, California, presentada por la escritora y actriz de comedia australiana Rebel Wilson, a la que hemos visto recientemente en filmes como La boda de mi mejor amiga (Bridesmaids, 2011) o Despedida de soltera (Bachelorette, 2012). Los nominados son escogidos por los productores de la MTV y los ganadores se deciden a través de las votaciones on-line en la web oficial de la cadena.
