La cadena de televisión ABC realiza un remake de Dirty Dancing de tres horas de duración del que ahora nos llegan alguna imágenes de los protagonistas.
El telefilm está protagonizado por Abigail Breslin y Colt Prattes en los papeles principales de la película, el monitor de baile Johnny Castle (interpretado por Patrick Swayze en 1987) y el de la inocente Baby Houseman (en su momento Jennifer Grey).
La película narra la historia por todos ya conocida. Durante las vacaciones de verano la joven Houseman coincide con un profesor de baile con quién terminará conociendo el amor y realizando uno de los bailes más conocidos del cine.
La película dirigida en 1987 por Emile Ardolino tuvo una gran repercusión de público, siendo una de las películas de bailes más exitosas.
