Presentamos la lista de nominados para la edición número 28 del Film Independent Spirit Awards, que premia las películas independientes más innovadoras con bajo presupuesto de cada año en una ceremonia que tiene lugar el dia antes de la entrega de los Oscars de Hollywood, en esta ocasión el 23 de febrero de 2013 junto a la playa en Santa Mónica, en California, y los nominados fueron anunciados por Zoe Saldaña, Anna Kendrick y Common. Destacar que Silver Linings Playbook y Moonrise Kingdom lideran el ranking con 5 nominaciones, que Beasts of the Southern Wild las sigue con 4 aunque se queda fuera en las categorías de mejor guión y actor secundario (Dwight Henry), y que Matthew McConaughey consigue la doble nominación gracias a Killer Joe y Magic Mike.
