Todos los galardonados de los Independent Spirit Awards 2019. El evento más importante del año del cine independiente se dio cita el pasado día 23 en Santa Mónica. Celebración que otorga premios a las mejores películas, actrices y actores de este pasado 2018.

Una ceremonia que a diferencia de lo que hemos visto en los Oscar de este domingo, si que ha premiado a actores olvidados como a Toni Collette, Ethan Hawke por su papel en El reverendo (First Reformed) que ha sido una de las grandes ausencias en la 91º edición de los Oscar. O a la actriz Glenn Close por su papel en The Wife, tras ya siete veces nominada en los Oscar y sin llevarse ninguna estatuilla.

El blues de Beale Street se alzó con el premio a mejor película, sumando también el de mejor director y el de mejor actriz secundaria. Un premio para Barry Jenkins que le quita el mal sabor de boca no estar en la lista de los Oscar 2019.
